Projects
Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ERA) is continuing its significant investment programme, with the Ranger 3 Deeps exploration decline progressing to the next phase.
The Ranger 3 Deeps exploration decline will enable underground exploration drilling of the Ranger 3 Deeps orebody near the operating mine Pit 3, and to undertake underground exploration drilling to the north, where the orebody remains open.
This project is subject to independent Commonwealth and Northern Territory environmental assessment processes.
ERA has also approved an $80 million feasibility study on the installation of a brine concentrator as part of significant investment in process water management and treatment at Ranger.
The brine concentrator uses thermal energy to evaporate water, which is then condensed and discharged as clean distilled water.
