ERA automotive apprentices take out Territory industry awards

29 December 2016

Congratulations to ERA apprentices Brock Hope, Jaala Alley and James Orum who have been recognised as among the Northern Territory’s best automotive apprentices.

The 2016 TIO Automotive Apprentice of the Year Awards were held in December at an official ceremony hosted at Parliament House in Darwin. The awards honour the best of the best automotive apprentices in the industry across the Northern Territory.

ERA Indigenous Support Officer Mickitja Onus said they were proud to support the nominations recognising the hard work of the apprentices in 2016.

“James, Brock and Jaala have shown real interest in their trades and demonstrated a commitment to learning from others and safety on site,” Mickitja said.

“It was great to see their efforts recognised amongst their peers and their industry”.
