Ranger mine is located 8 km east of Jabiru and 260 km south east of Darwin, in Australia's Northern Territory.
The mine project area is 79 km² and is surrounded by, but separate from the World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, which is approximately 20,000 km².
ERA holds the title to the Jabiluka mineral lease 22 km north of Ranger. This world class project is under long term care and maintenance and will not be developed by ERA without the consent of the Mirarr Traditional Owners.
