ERA is aware of a scam in which people claiming to be employees of ERA based at the Ranger mine are targeting the sellers of vehicles online and claiming that they can’t speak to them by phone because of poor mobile phone reception.
ERA takes this matter very seriously and has reported the incident to www.scamwatch.gov.au and www.acorn.gov.au.
For the record, the Ranger mine has full internet and mobile phone connectivity despite its remote location.
