Ranger Women’s Network national finalists

13 Sept 2018

Energy Resources of Australia (ERA) would like to congratulate the Ranger Women’s Network on making the finals of the recent Women in Resources National Awards in Canberra.

The Ranger Women’s Network was nominated for the Excellence in Diversity Programs and Performance Award after winning the category at the Northern Territory Awards ceremony in June.

While the Network didn’t take the win, reaching the national finals is an important recognition of the incredible contribution the initiative has provided to women working at Ranger mine and living in the local community of Jabiru.

The ERA Ranger Women’s Network was formed in 2017 to support, mentor, and encourage women who are working at ERA. The Network is employee driven and led by a talented committee of volunteers who champion diversity in the workplace, encourage education and discussion on women’s issues in the region, fundraise for local charities and also host a number of events for both men and women across site.
